Consultation Terms & Conditions
AHA (Awareness Healing Appreciation) Coaching - Recall Healing Services
Please read this document carefully before submitting your consultation form. Submitting your form confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms. If anything is unclear, contact us at info@aharecallhealing.eu before proceeding.
This document sets out the terms and conditions that govern 1:1 Recall Healing consultations provided by AHA Coaching.
It explains the scope of services, the responsibilities of both facilitator and client, and the policies that apply to our work together.
The services, information, and consultations provided by AHA Coaching are intended to support general wellbeing and are educational in nature. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment and are not a substitute for the care of a qualified healthcare professional.
Recall Healing is not a regulated health profession under Irish law. No diagnosis is made, and no medical treatment is prescribed as part of these services.
By participating in a consultation, you remain under the supervision and responsibility of your own healthcare practitioner.
We do not provide emergency medical or mental health services. If you are in distress, please contact your GP or another qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, or if you are at immediate risk of harm, contact emergency services (112 or 999) or attend your nearest hospital without delay.
For guidance on when to call emergency services in Ireland: www2.hse.ie/emergencies/when-to-call-112-or-999
Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.
3.1 Participation & Involvement
Voluntary participation
Participation in Recall Healing sessions is entirely voluntary. You may end the consultation at any time, without penalty. The first few sessions are an opportunity to assess whether this approach and this facilitator are the right fit for you.
Client responsibilities
Attend sessions on time and be ready to engage.
Do not attend sessions while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other mood-altering substances.
Engage openly and honestly; the quality of the work depends on it.
Reflect on and work with insights discussed between sessions.
Attend consistently; irregular attendance may limit progress.
Facilitator responsibilities
Your facilitator will be prepared and present at the agreed session time, except in cases of genuine unforeseen circumstances or emergency. The facilitator will offer focused, professional support and guidance and will work with you to support greater self-awareness in relation to the issues you wish to address.
The facilitator's role is to guide and support the process. The client retains full responsibility for all personal decisions, actions, and outcomes arising from or related to the sessions.
Equal access
AHA Coaching is committed to providing services without discrimination. Sessions are open to all clients regardless of gender, age, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected under Irish equality legislation, including the Equal Status Acts 2000–2018.
3.2 Outcomes, Risks and Benefits
No Guarantees
While many clients experience positive changes through Recall Healing, no specific outcomes can be guaranteed. Individual results vary and depend on personal circumstances, readiness, engagement, and consistency.
Recall Healing does not promise results in relation to medical recovery, emotional or psychological outcomes, changes in relationships, or changes in behaviour. It is a supportive and educational process, not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.
Potential risks
As with any reflective or personal development process, sessions may bring up challenging material. This can include difficult memories, unexpected emotional responses, or temporary discomfort such as sadness, guilt, anger, frustration, loneliness, or a sense of helplessness.
Some clients experience a temporary intensification of existing symptoms as awareness increases. Transitions during personal growth can feel unsettling. Clients are encouraged to seek appropriate medical or mental health support at any time if needed.
If distress arises during a session
If a client presents with acute emotional or psychological distress during a session, the facilitator may pause or bring the session to a close early in order to prioritise the client's wellbeing. In such circumstances, the facilitator will signpost the client to appropriate support, which may include their GP, a mental health professional, or emergency services where necessary.
Pausing or ending a session for this reason does not result in forfeiture of the session fee. The facilitator will follow up by email within one business day to check in and discuss next steps.
Potential benefits
Benefits may include increased self-awareness, improved emotional coping, greater clarity around personal patterns, new perspectives on challenges, enhanced communication in relationships, improved self-esteem, and a greater sense of personal responsibility and empowerment.
Benefits vary from person to person and depend on individual engagement and consistency.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Irish law, AHA Coaching's liability for any claim arising from these sessions is limited to the fees paid for the session(s) directly giving rise to the claim. This reflects the educational and supportive nature of the service described above.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law. For full details, please refer to the AHA Coaching Terms and Conditions.
3.3 Facilitator Qualifications and Professional Approach
Credentials
Recall Healing facilitators hold diplomas and training certifications in the field of Recall Healing. Areas of study include but are not limited to: the human skeleto-muscular system, relationships, depression and addictions, children's learning and behavioural challenges, and weight-related issues.
Recall Healing training programmes are organised and delivered by the Institute of Valeology. Full qualification requires completion of a final certification step through the International Recall Healing Institute. Copies of relevant certifications are available upon request.
Approach
Sessions focus on creating a supportive and respectful environment that encourages reflection on life experiences, emotional patterns, and belief systems and how these may influence present challenges. The process may include guided exploration, emotional awareness, cognitive reflection, and practical exercises - ‘Letting Go Tools’.
Supervision
In line with good practice standards, the facilitator may consult with other professionals regarding case management or structure. Client confidentiality is always maintained. No identifying details, including names or other personal identifiers, are ever disclosed during supervision or professional consultation.
3.4 Bookings, Sessions, and Length of Work
Booking
Once you have submitted your consultation form, sessions can be scheduled via the Calendly or Systeme.io booking system available on the AHA Coaching website.
Format and duration
Sessions are currently conducted online via WhatsApp video call. Additional platforms (including Google Meet and Zoom) will be added in due course. Sessions are 50 minutes in duration. Where a session genuinely requires additional time to close appropriately, this is provided at no extra charge.
Frequency and overall duration
Sessions are typically scheduled every one to two weeks at a mutually agreed time. Many clients feel they achieve their intended outcomes within 6 to 10 sessions, though some require fewer and others choose to continue longer. The overall length of the process depends on individual circumstances, the nature and complexity of the issues being explored, and the work undertaken between sessions.
Presence of others
Sessions are intended to be attended individually. The presence of children, family members, or other individuals is generally disruptive and is therefore discouraged.
3.5 Confidentiality and Records
General Confidentiality
All information shared during consultations is treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent, except as outlined below.
Exceptions
Confidentiality may be broken where legally or ethically required, including in situations involving:
suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person
serious risk of harm to yourself or others
a court order requiring disclosure of records
Records
Professional standards require that consultation records be maintained. These include a completed intake form, a signed informed consent agreement, and facilitator notes. All records are stored securely and retained for eight years following the end of services, in accordance with applicable professional standards.
You have the right to request access to your records under Irish data protection law. For full details of how your personal data is handled, please refer to the AHA Coaching Privacy Policy, available on the website.
Use of Anonymised Session Material
With your consent, anonymised and de-identified material from sessions may be used for professional development, educational, and promotional purposes. This includes use in workshops, training events, consultations with other clients, and publicly available content such as YouTube videos or other online platforms.
Before any such use, all identifying information will be removed. This includes your name, location and any other information that could reasonably identify you. No sensitive personal data will ever be used in a way that could identify you.
If you do not consent to this use, please indicate this clearly on your intake/consent form. Your choice will have no effect on the quality or availability of services provided to you.
If you later wish to withdraw your consent for future use of your material, you may do so at any time by contacting us at info@aharecallhealing.eu. Please note that withdrawal of consent does not apply retroactively to material already published or used in a workshop setting prior to the withdrawal request.
3.6 Fees and Payment
Session fee
The fee for a Recall Healing consultation is €80 per 60-minute session.
VAT
This service is currently exempt from VAT, as annual turnover is below the Irish VAT registration threshold.
Payment
A payment link will be issued following booking. Payment must be completed before the session begins. The facilitator reserves the right to cancel an unpaid session if payment has not been received in advance.
Cancellation by the client
Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice will receive a full refund or a credit toward a future session at the client's preference.
Please note: weekends do not count toward the 24-hour notice period. For example, a Monday 1:00 pm appointment must be cancelled by 1:00 pm on the previous Friday.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit the session fee. Exceptions may be made at the facilitator's discretion in cases of genuine emergency.
If a client misses two appointments without adequate notice, the facilitator reserves the right to discontinue services.
Cancellation by the facilitator
If a session is cancelled by the facilitator for any reason, a full refund will be issued within 14 days or the session rescheduled at the client's preference. The client will never lose a prepaid fee as a result of a facilitator cancellation.
Your right to withdraw (14-day cooling-off period)
As this service is provided remotely, you have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days of booking without giving any reason, under the European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts Made by Means of Distance Communication) Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
However, if you request that your session take place within this 14-day period, you expressly consent to the early commencement of the service. If the session has been fully delivered within the cooling-off period, your right of withdrawal is lost upon completion of that session. By booking a session within the 14-day window, you acknowledge and accept this.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at info@aharecallhealing.eu before the session takes place.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please use the following template:
To: AHA Coaching - info@aharecallhealing.eu
I hereby give notice that I wish to withdraw from my contract for the following consultation service:
Name: Session booked: Date of booking: Date of withdrawal request:
Refunds
All refunds will be issued within 14 days of a cancellation or withdrawal request, using the same payment method as the original transaction where possible.
3.7 Communication and Availability
Contact and working hours
Due to the nature of the work, the facilitator may not always be immediately available by phone. You are welcome to leave a message or send an email, and your message will be responded to as soon as reasonably possible.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. We aim to respond to all messages within two business days.
Late arrivals and no-shows
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, as sessions must end at the scheduled time. If a client misses two appointments without adequate notice, the facilitator reserves the right to discontinue services.
Circumstances beyond our control
Occasionally, AHA Coaching may be unable to deliver sessions due to circumstances genuinely outside our control. These may include serious illness or bereavement, prolonged technical failure, natural events, or other unforeseen situations that make it impossible or unreasonable to continue providing the service.
In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and will make every effort to resume services or arrange alternative arrangements. If services cannot be resumed within a reasonable period, any prepaid fees for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded in full within 14 days.
This clause does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.
Ending the consultation
Either party may end the consultation process at any time.
If you wish to terminate, please notify the facilitator by email at info@aharecallhealing.eu. Any prepaid fees for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded in full within 14 days.
If the facilitator believes the consultation is no longer beneficial or that there is a significant conflict of values, scope, or expectations, this will be communicated openly and respectfully. In the event of termination by the facilitator, any prepaid fees for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded in full within 14 days. Where possible, a brief closing summary or signposting to appropriate support will be provided.
3.8 Platform and Data
Current platform.
Consultations are currently conducted via WhatsApp video call. We are working toward transitioning to more privacy-compliant platforms (such as Google Meet or Zoom, both of which offer GDPR Data Processing Agreements) as the practice develops. This clause will be updated, and clients will be notified when the transition takes place.
What this means for your data
WhatsApp is owned by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and operates under its own terms and privacy policy. When a session takes place over WhatsApp, certain technical data, such as your phone number, call duration, and device information, is processed by Meta under their own privacy policy, separately from and outside the control of AHA Recall Healing.
Session content is not recorded by us. All notes taken during or after sessions are stored securely in accordance with the AHA Coaching Privacy Policy.
Your consent
By booking a session and selecting WhatsApp as your platform, you confirm that you:
Have been informed that WhatsApp is owned by Meta and operates under Meta's privacy policy.
Understand that call metadata is processed by Meta and is outside AHA Recall Healing's control
have had the opportunity to read Meta's privacy policy at www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy
freely and explicitly consent to the use of WhatsApp for your consultation sessions
If you do not wish to use WhatsApp, please contact us at info@aharecallhealing.eu to discuss alternatives. We will always endeavour to accommodate reasonable requests.
3.9 Age Restriction and Working with Minors
Minimum age
AHA Recall Healing sessions are available to clients aged 16 and over. Clients under 18 are considered minors under Irish law, and additional requirements apply.
Parental or guardian consent
Where a client is aged 16 or 17, written consent from at least one parent or legal guardian is required before sessions begin. This must be provided in writing via the parental consent section of the intake form.
Where both parents share parental responsibility, both must be informed of the minor's participation, even if only one is required to sign the consent form. It is the responsibility of the consenting parent or guardian to ensure the other is informed.
Parental responsibility during the process
The consenting parent or guardian assumes joint responsibility with the minor for engagement with the process, including attendance, fee payment, and prompt communication of any concerns to the facilitator.
The facilitator will communicate with both the minor and the consenting parent or guardian as appropriate. However, the minor's confidentiality within sessions will be respected, and session content will not be routinely shared with parents, unless a confidentiality exception applies (see Section 3.5).
Safeguarding
AHA Recall Healing is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all clients, including minors. We operate in accordance with the Children First Act 2015 and the Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children. Any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a minor will be reported to Túsla, the Child and Family Agency, in accordance with our legal obligations, regardless of confidentiality.
If you have any concerns about a child's safety or welfare, you can contact Túsla directly: www.tusla.ie
Digital products and online services
Under GDPR Article 8 and Irish data protection law, the minimum age for consent to data processing in connection with online services is 16 in Ireland. Clients under 16 may not use our website, purchase digital products, or sign up to our mailing list. Parental consent is required for any data processing involving clients aged 16 or 17.
3.10 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Nothing in this clause limits your rights as a consumer under Irish or EU consumer protection law. You may seek redress through:
Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC): www.ccpc.ie
European Consumer Centre Ireland (ECC Ireland): for cross-border EU disputes: www.eccireland.ie
Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): for disputes arising from online purchases or bookings: www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
3.11 Updates to This Agreement
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practice, services, or legal obligations. We will notify existing clients of any material changes by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of our services after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the bottom of this document indicates when it was last updated.
